On Thursday, one of our team members participated in the Back On My Feet/New England Center for Homeless Veterans Walk of Thanks. Sadly, most of our footage didn’t come out because of the pouring rain, but we did get a Vthankyou message from Bridget Horne, Director of Communications and Corporate Relations at Back On My Feet (Boston).
As a side plug if you’re in Boston, Back On My Feet has a running program with the New England Center for Homeless Veterans 4 days a week. Click here for more information on how to volunteer!

It didn’t matter whether or not people took up the full length of a vsnap (one minute), it mattered that they took the time, 3 seconds or 30, to say thank you. Here’s the last bunch of the one minute series:
Hope all the veterans, all those serving and their families had a very happy Veterans Day!

Where’d all these thumbnails come from? They’re from the one minute videos we’ve been posting on the blog over the past couple days. About 100 people saying thank you in around 10 minutes. Pretty incredible. Here’s the second set of videos in the series.
Record your own video message on Vsnap, share your message with vthankyou@vsnap.com (you’ll see this on the share page), and $5 will go the Wounded Warrior Project! Tell your friends on Facebook or tweet (use the hashtag #vthankyou).

On Friday, we visited students involved with the Boston Centers for Youth and Families (BCYF). The afternoon started with a talk from Boston Veterans’ Services Commissioner, Francisco Urena. We took some time to chat with the students about Vthankyou and gave them a few minutes to draw and think about what they wanted to say in their messages. Sadly, the internet connection didn’t allow us to log onto http://wwww.vsnap.com but that didn’t stop us from getting videos of thanks to our veterans and troops! Check out the video below to hear some amazing messages of thanks:
We’d like to thank the students and Franciso Urena as well as Daphne Griffin,Therese Martinez, and the rest of the BCYF staff for all their support! To make your own video of thanks to our veterans, troops and their families, all you need is a computer with a webcam! Log onto http://www.vsnap.com, make an account (it’ll take 2 minutes or less), record a video, and share it with vthankyou@vsnap.com. For every video message of thanks, $5 will go to the Wounded Warrior Project! Tell your friends and spread the word via Twitter or Facebook.

Thanks to everyone that has supported the campaign so far. If you’ve already recorded a message, share it with everyone you know!
If you’re just tuning in, in honor of Veterans Day we’re recording videos of thanks to our veterans and military from now until November 11th. For each message sent, $5 will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project! We’ve got a $5,000 matching donation on the line, so get to recording!
1) Register on http://www.vsnap.com and record 6 seconds or 60 to say thanks to our veterans, military, and their families. No fancy equipment necessary, just a laptop with a webcam. Need some inspiration? Check out these examples: How do you vthankyou? or Vthankyou with the BCYF Youth
2) Share the message with vthankyou@vsnap.com so we can keep track of the donations. You don’t even need to open up your email, there’s a share page after you save your video. Share it with a few friends as well – just add their email addresses separated by commas. That’ll make it easy for them to come and record their own thank yous.

3) And you’re done! 100% of the proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that helps honor and empower wounded veterans. Share with your friends on Twitter or Facebook.
